Today we got to create our very own snowmen with Mrs. R. We had a blast making them come to life!

1st grade testing

We are just finishing up our writing tests and we will start working on our math tests on Wednesday. On Friday, I will test the kiddos on their DIBELS (rate) and on their sight words. Please try and have your students in class as much as possible this week. This is also your last chances to really practices those sight words and math facts at home before the tests!! I KNOW THEY WILL DO GREAT!!!

I am happy to be back at school after having eye problems for a week. I started Thanksgiving week with an eye infection but ended up have Uvetisis (inflammation inside your eye). I spent the week at many doctors appointments and without being able to see. The doctors say that my eyes are getting much better and hope that the inflammation stays away. Thank you for all your kind words while I was away from school. They meant a lot and I was so excited to come back and see all the kiddos. They made coming back (with glasses and eye drops every 4 hours) so much easier to handle.

Thank you so much for donating pies and goodies for our Poems and Pie before Thanksgiving Break!!! It was a huge success and the kids had a blast.
